Hereditary hair loss is the most common type of hair loss in both men and women. It's not about hair disappearing overnight, but rather the hair follicles gradually becoming weaker. Hair grows slower, becomes thinner, and falls out more easily than before. Over time, it doesn't have time to grow back as strong as it once was.
The study followed over 500 individuals with mild androgenic alopecia who used an Aminexil-based treatment daily for three months. The focus was not on miraculous results, but on something more relevant: reduced hair loss, tolerability, and how the product was actually perceived in everyday life.
After three months, reduced hair loss was observed in almost 9 out of 10 participants. The effect was slightly more pronounced in women than in men, but results were seen in both groups. Participants also experienced improved hair quality and gave the treatment a high rating in terms of satisfaction and cosmetic feel. Almost all also found that the product was well tolerated by the scalp.
In summary, the study shows that Aminexil can help to reduce hair loss in mild AGA, with good tolerability and high user satisfaction – but it does not show new hair growth, but primarily reduced shedding.
